Pakistan is facing worse crises due to worse rule of law and weak government writ. Allama Nasir Abbas Jaffri

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal): Quad Wahdat e Muslimeen Allama Nasir Abbas Jaffri has said Pakistan is facing worse crises due to worse rule of law and weak government writ. He was addressing lawyers Tuesday here at District Bar. Defining democracy he said according to our constitution all powers and sovereignty belong to Allah and the most honest, trustworthy, pious, sincere and competent persons are to be  elected to exercise those powers as naibs of Allah. Unfortunately in our country opposite to it is happening. Here most corrupt; most dishonest traditional politicians with force of wealth collected through unfair means grab seats of assemblies and rule the country to their own advantage. Referring to wide spread corruption in government institutions, terrorism and poor state of law and order, he said this was due to non implementation of constitution and law of the land in its true spirit. He said law is only applicable to the poor where as all politicians; rulers, bureaucrats and their eulogists enjoy exemption from application of law. This was the main cause for terrorism, rising crime and corruption in the country. He said people want corruption free Pakistan as it was dreamed by Allama Iqbal and founded by Quad e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, uniting all citizens under one flag without any discrimination on the basis of creed, race, religion and sect.  He said Pakistan is rich in resources in shape of best human material and fertile land, rivers and mountains with minerals. Its geographical location gives it an added advantage in international geopolitics. He said despite all these characteristics and inherent advantages our rulers had badly failed to forge out foreign policy to make a respectable place in the comity of nations. The main reason for this failure he told as personal interest of rulers and their selfishness. He said there is no respect of law in the country and those who violate law are considered as heroes. This trend has to be crushed, he stressed. He said with the passage of time rulers real face and designs had been exposed to the people and in near future we expect people would get rid of traditional and dynastic politics by electing and sending most competent, honest and sincere persons to assemblies to make Pakistan corruption free Islamic welfare state as it was envisioned by our forefathers.
